The seafront is 50 metres away, Spiaggia Terrazza 150, the Ariston Theatre and the Casino about 300 and Piazza Colombo 350. The railway station is 950 metres away, about 13 minutes on foot.

Rates at Albergo Malibu vary with the season, the day of the week and availability, and also depend on the room type, from the single to the sea-view double. Couples can choose between the two doubles, with a large double bed or two single beds: the one with a balcony is the only one with sea views. For a family of three, the Triple Room has a large double bed and a single bed, or three single beds. Solo travellers have the Single Room. If you are travelling with a small child, it is worth asking the property first.

Check-in runs from 14:00 to 19:00 and check-out from 7:00 to 11:00. If you expect to arrive after 19:00, let the property know in advance. The minimum check-in age is 18.

There are paid public car parks nearby, such as the covered Palafiori car park between Piazza Colombo and Corso Garibaldi, and the one in Piazza Cesare Battisti, open 24 hours. Watch out for the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), with gates and cameras, on Corso Matteotti, Piazza Bresca and Piazza San Siro: fines are also issued to foreign-registered and hire cars.

Nice Côte d'Azur airport is 46 kilometres away, about fifty minutes by car. Direct buses leave Terminal 1 for Piazza Cesare Battisti in Sanremo, taking about an hour. By train, go from Nice-Saint-Augustin station to Ventimiglia on a ZOU! regional train, then continue with Trenitalia to Sanremo station, 950 metres from the hotel.

No: rooms have a fan and heating, but no air conditioning. In July and August they can feel hot, which is worth bearing in mind if you struggle with the heat; from mid-April to mid-June and in the first half of September the Sanremo climate is milder.

Only the Double or Twin Room with Balcony and Sea View, which also has a balcony. The other room types look over the town or a landmark: if seeing the sea from your window matters, choose this one when you book.

Yes: the Ariston Theatre, which has hosted the Festival since 1977, is about 300 metres away, a few minutes on foot. The 2027 edition is scheduled for 16 to 20 February, with the final on Saturday 20th. The town fills up during those days, so it is best to book well ahead.
